WAPPSITE BUILD GUIDE

What you need and how to build it.

Building your WappSite is a guided process. A little preparation before you start makes it even easier.

This guide shows you what the Builder will ask for, what is useful to have ready, and what happens when your WappSite is complete.

THE BUILD

12 simple sections about your business.

Work through each section in the Builder, adding the information that applies to your business.

01

Identity and Location

Your business or trading name, the type of business you have, and where your business is based.

Have ready: Have your correct business name and main town, city or operating location ready.
02

Main Picture

Choose the main picture that will appear prominently on your WappSite.

Have ready: Use a strong, clear image that represents your business, work, products or services.
03

A short introduction telling customers what you do and why they should consider your business.

Have ready: Think about a short headline and a simple description of what your business does.
04

Reasons to Choose You

Add the things that help customers understand why they should choose your business.

Have ready: Examples might include experience, qualifications, friendly local service, free estimates or specialist knowledge.
05

List the services your business provides, starting with your main service.

Have ready: Make a simple list of your principal services. You can also add useful information such as “from £45” or “same-day”.
06

Areas Covered

Tell customers where you provide your services.

Have ready: This could be individual towns, a county, a region or a wider area such as the whole UK.
07

Price Guide

Add useful example prices where appropriate.

Have ready: You can use straightforward descriptions such as “Boiler service — from £85” or “Free estimates”.
08

Customer Comments

Add genuine comments or feedback you have received from customers.

Have ready: Have the comment, customer name and customer area available if you want them displayed.
09

Qualifications & Memberships

Add relevant qualifications, accreditations, trade associations or professional memberships.

Have ready: Examples include Gas Safe Registered, Chartered Accountant or Qualified Mechanic.
10

Hours and Availability

Let customers know when your business is normally available.

Have ready: Think about weekday and weekend hours, Bank/Public Holidays and whether you offer a 24-hour emergency service.
11

Customer Contact

Provide the contact details customers can use to reach you.

Have ready: You will need at least one telephone number. You can also provide email, WhatsApp and business address details where appropriate.
